Book Translation
One of Harcz & Partner Ltd.’s longstanding specialties is book translation. We have an illustrious past translating all sorts of publications from English into all major languages of the world, as well as several exotic tongues. We were established in 1997, and our international clients keep returning to us for more.
The exact rate we charge for the translation of a publication depends principally on the volume and the expected turn-around, as well as the topic of the text. However, in general, the longer the text, the lower the rate we charge for its translation into another language, provided the deadline is commensurate with the volume. (Continued after the picture.)
In the course of the past decade and a half, Harcz & Partner Ltd. successfully translated publications of the following types from English into Eastern European and Asian languages and from those into English: fiction novels, short stories, biographies, historical novels, guides, technical manuals, marketing brochures, autobiographies, books and theses on philosophical and scientific topics, newspaper articles, doctoral theses, university papers, captions, scenarios, presentations, poems and other literary pieces.
Our translators are all university-educated native speakers of their respective target language, i.e. the language they translate into, and have several years of translation experience behind them. Our resources are selected based on rigorous criteria including test translation. Before delivery, the translator’s output is carefully checked by both an editor and a proofreader. In the case of publications, these extra steps ensure that the writing in question be fully fit for presentation to the targeted audience in either printed or electronic formats.
